They had nothing to say to each other , words deserted them , followed the suit the emotions.
Dev and Kavya had known each other for a time they themselves didn't remember. They were born in renowned families residing in posh neighborhood of South Delhi. Dev was only kid in the family while Kavya had a fraternal twin Animesh. The childhood was as happy as it could be, every wish was turned true long before it was uttered. They were admitted to the best school, were given best of lifestyles possible. With time passing, Dev and Kavya got closer, became fond of each other while Animesh felt neglected. He sometimes complained but no serious thought was given. Years passed, the unattended problem was growing big & silently conspiring. The parents never had time owning to demanding jobs they had and the child was developing an incurable disease. He was just 11 years old , he was a loner, he was developing negative thoughts , all this under strict scrutiny of highly educated parents, a horde of servants and a same-age sibling. His thoughts had no outlet, no one to listen to, no one to discuss. His own sister was no friend to him and he blamed Dev for it. He was not able to accept Dev's presence in their lives, he had made his childhood miserable. He often thought, had there been no Dev, Kavya would be all his. She would have no option than him. His life would be happy , his lonesome days would be over. He dreamt of a happy future and to materialise it , he planned.
The plan though failed, yielded and other wise result, the subject being the object. Animesh is gone , gone forever, never to return.
